I’ve just put in my order for the FS and it seems like I have around three months (give or take) before I get the VIN, going by what others have shared. In the meantime, is it a good idea to start looking into getting my home power setup ready, including power sharing? I haven't heard anything directly from Tesla, but I’ve seen people talking about getting ahead of the game. Any advice or steps I should take while waiting?

I’d say start the prep work, but don’t jump into expensive upgrades yet. Tesla hasn’t fully rolled out PowerShare, and we still don’t have solid details on what’s required for full bi-directional charging. If you’re just setting up a home charger, go for it. But for whole-home backup power, I’d wait until Tesla provides clearer guidance, wouldn’t want to spend big on something that needs a revision later.
