Just curious if there is an actual way to steal a Cybertruck if you do not have the key or app or there is anyone near the vehicle. Not asking for hotwire instructions but just curious if it's even possible. Seems like it would help insurance rates long-term if that is the case.

You can't. Teslas rely on key cards or phone app access for entry and driving. Most owners (including me) also put a PIN for us to be able to shift into gear.

Besides, most people hate Cybertrucks. So I guess no one wants to steal it. LOL

Good luck with that! The car's security is top-notch.

It is great that you are considering security. Tesla has some robust anti-theft measures in place. Without a key card or phone app, it is nearly impossible to access the vehicle. Plus, the added PIN feature enhances security significantly. Studies have shown that electric vehicles, especially Teslas, have lower theft rates because of these advanced systems.

  • Absolutely, it is like a tough nut to crack!
  • The tech is designed to keep those Cybertrucks safe...
  • Anyway, most people aren't exactly desiring to steal a Cybertruck, haha!
