Hello, guys! I have a quick question. If the Cybertruck can charge up during off-peak hours when electricity is cheaper, could it then power a home during peak hours when rates are higher? Seems like it could save a ton on energy bills. Does anyone know if this is doable with the FS Gateway that comes with the truck?

Yes buddy, the Cybertruck with FS Gateway can potentially power your home during peak hours, saving on energy costs through bidirectional charging.

Yeah, but don't expect to charge the whole house (unless you have a small one, haha).

I think with the right setup, using the Cybertruck to charge during off-peak hours and power your home during peak hours could totally work. You’ll likely need the Tesla FS Gateway or a compatible home energy system. It’s an upfront cost but could save you a lot in the long run. Definitely worth exploring, and probably checking if your local power can advise about it.
