Before I go full-on and install a 220V outlet, is there anything I can do to speed things up a bit? I knew 40 miles per hour was a pipe dream, but 2 miles per hour is more like watching paint dry. Right now, it’s plugged into the wall via an extension cord in my garage, so you can imagine how thrilling that is.

Yeah a fast charging station would be the dream! But until they magically appear on every corner I guess I’ll have to keep making peace with the slower ones:(

I hear you! Charging on a standard outlet can be slow. Have you considered installing a Level 2 charger? It can significantly speed up the charging process. Also, some public charging stations might offer faster charging options. It could be worth checking out if there are any nearby.
