Is it possible to replace the low-capacity, low-voltage 12V battery with a more robust one? Upgrading to something like a Dakota Lithium would definitely solve a lot of issues, offering better performance and longevity.

Upgrading sounds great in theory, but Tesla’s systems are pretty locked down when it comes to power management. If you swap in an unapproved 12V battery, you could run into software errors or charging issues. I’d wait until someone successfully mods it before taking the risk.
