Wall charge installation on hold?

Hey everyone!
My brother is finally getting his CT soon. He is wondering if he should still buy the wall connector considering he plans to install a home backup system in the near future. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

The mobile charger is enough for the beginning. It is better to hold on to buying the wall connector. He can buy it later.
