I think the Cybertruck range extender concept is brilliant. If Tesla made it as removable modules, about 50 pounds each and easy to install in 15-20 minutes, it would give us flexible towing range that’s easy to adjust. You could buy more over time to extend your range as needed. What do you think?

I'm curious if they'll make different options. For instance, a flat one that goes the whole length of the bed. The other one they have is square and takes up half the bed. It'd be cool if they could make one that slides in and out of the bed and is totally flat, so you can use the whole bed. I get that people want to use fifth wheels, that's probably why they made the block one. But it'd be nice to have the choice between the two.

Having a flat, slide-in option that doesn’t take up bed space would be super practical, especially for hauling or using fifth wheels. It’d be ideal if Tesla gave us the choice between both designs.

This is awesome news for all Cybertruck owners! A removable, modular range extender would make the truck super flexible. Extra towing power without any permanent changes, such a smart way to extend the range when you need it!
