What's up with this accelerator pedal issue? Has anyone else had this problem? I'm thinking of a DIY solution to keep the cover from sliding off. Why hasn't Tesla fixed this?
Looks like the spot welding might be a bit off. Maybe throw in a few rivets to keep the cover from shifting around on the pedal. That should do the trick!

I have heard of this issue popping up before.

A quick DIY fix, yes, could be using some high-strength adhesive or industrial-grade velcro to keep the pedal cover in place.

It will hold tight without messing with the pedal's function.

I would try this before resorting to rivets.

hey, @kalihoodz. I have seen some people use a strong adhesive like @MaddyBLue suggested, and it seems to work without being too invasive. If you are looking for a cleaner, removable solution, rubber grip strips could also keep it in place without damaging the pedal.
Until Tesla will do something, DIY seems to be the way to go.

Use zip ties to secure the cover in place! Just thread them through any available holes on the pedal assembly, and they should keep the cover from sliding off without causing any permanent changes. It is a quick fix and super easy to do.
