I have been looking into the value of the range extender for the Cybertruck, and I found that the extender gives an extra 130 miles (38% of the CT's battery cap). If the CT has a 125kWh battery, that means the extender offers about 48-50kWh of extra capacity. Now, when we think about the range extender in terms of backup suply, and that's equivalent to around 4.5 Tesla Powerwalls, which would normally cost about $38k installed. But the range extender comes in at around $16k installed, so you are getting a pretty significant deal if you are ok with sacrificing some bad space.
