I’m working on setting up a VHF/UHF amateur radio in the Cybertruck and plan to install a through-glass antenna above the rear passenger seat on the right side. The idea is to route the coax cable down behind the seat, but I’ll need to remove the “side bolster” to get the cable hidden properly. The Service Manual suggests just “releasing the clips and datums,” which sounds simple, but I’d rather not break any clips by guessing.

From what I can tell, I should be able to pull the bolster forward from the bottom to release it, does anyone have experience doing this? Any tips on safely removing it would be much appreciated!

I removed the whole rear seat, and the side bolsters are easy to identify. It's important to note that all the clips and reference points are slanted, not at a right angle to the side panels.

To safely remove the side bolster, gently pull it forward from the bottom to release the clips.
