Tesla Cybertruck Universal Wall Connector Home Charging

Hi everyone. New CT owner here.

Does the Tesla Cybertruck really come without a universal home charger? So, when does the charging station get connected? And, for total EV newbies like me who have no home charging setup, how long will it be between picking up that one and being able to use it at home?

A friend who recently purchased a Tesla reported that they initially provide the mobile connector rather than the fancy wall charger. The wall charger appears to be part of the larger PowerShare system, which will be installed later by an outside company.

Haha, so here's the scoop: the Tesla Cybertruck usually comes with a mobile connector, not that fancy wall charger right off the bat.
Think of it as a starter pack for your EV journey.
As for when that cool charging station gets hooked up, it is a bit of a wait. You will probably have an outside company come in to install it. Of course, in the meantime, you can definitely charge it up at public stations, so don't worry.
