I’ve noticed something odd with my Cybertruck’s windshield washer fluid. It seems to be just clear liquid in the reservoir, but whenever I use it, there’s this white residue left behind on the windshield. I’m wondering if this might mean it’s alcohol-based?

I’m thinking about replacing it with something that doesn’t leave those white marks, but everything I’ve found has coloring, and I’d prefer something clear if possible. Has anyone else noticed this, or found a good replacement? I’m even considering just using distilled water if that might solve it. Any tips or similar experiences would be awesome. thanks!

It might not be because of the windshield washer fluid, but because of the windshield wipes. Clear them if there is any dirt on them.

I have noticed similar white streaks on my Cybertruck's windshield as well! So, I am thinking the windshield fluid is wrong, or maybe it is not sprayed enough fluid onto the windshield, or the wiper blades don't make full contact. I have a service appointment at the end of the month to diagnose my own issue, so hopefully, they will have some solutions.

Replace the washer fluid and see if it is because of it. If not, then maybe @IamOld might be right.

That’s strange! It sounds like the washer fluid might have additives that leave that white residue, possibly due to alcohol or cleaning agents. You might want to try another brand.
